About

A technical sourcing partner for mining and heavy industry.

Why we exist

Why we built this.

China makes a huge share of the world's industrial equipment, and much of it is made well — but sourcing it from outside the country is hard. The right suppliers don't show up on Alibaba, specs get lost in translation, quality varies by factory floor, and once an order is placed, there's nobody on the ground to verify what's leaving the dock.

That is where we come in. We focus on mining, metals processing, and heavy civil, and our supplier network in China was built through years of project execution with major infrastructure partners — the people who know who builds what, who delivers on schedule, and who to call when a spec changes.

How we work

One point of contact.

Every inquiry starts with Spencer. He reads the spec, identifies the right supplier from our network, and works through pricing, terms, and lead times with the buyer. Our partner in China runs the on-the-ground side: factory visits, quality control, and freight coordination. The work keeps moving across time zones, and you stay with the same point of contact from the first conversation through delivery.

Spencer is a senior process engineer with a Masters from UC Berkeley. His work has focused on direct lithium extraction and ion-exchange systems — designing and commissioning pilot plants, scaling them to commercial designs, and running operations on the ground at salt-flat projects in Argentina and the Great Salt Lake. He also spent years living in China, where he built relationships and learned how business gets done there.
