What we collect
Information you give us. The inquiry form asks for your name, company, email address and what you are sourcing. The supplier application asks for your company and contact name, work email, optional phone number, company website or factory address, and the products you manufacture or supply.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, our analytics tools record the pages you visit, the date, time, and referring page of each visit, your browser and device type, operating system, screen size, IP address, approximate location (city or region, derived from IP), and how you interact with pages, such as clicks and scrolling.
How we collect it
- The inquiry form and supplier application form.
- Cookies and similar identifiers set by the tools below. We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic, Microsoft Clarity for session recordings and heatmaps that show how pages get used, and Google Ads to measure whether visits come from our ads.
What we use it for
- Replying to you. We use inquiry submissions to answer your request and prepare quotes. We use supplier applications to assess the company for our register and communicate about its products.
- Improving the site. Analytics tells us which pages are useful and which are not.
- Measuring advertising. We track whether an ad click led to an inquiry, so we know which ads are worth running.
- Reaching past visitors. We may use Google Ads features that show our ads to people who previously visited this site. You can opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
How it is handled
- Netlify stores form submissions. The existing inquiry email workflow uses Zapier and Google Workspace. Supplier applications are reviewed separately from buyer inquiries.
- Analytics data is held by Google Analytics, with event data retained for 14 months, and by Microsoft Clarity.
- The service providers named here process information to operate the website, handle inquiries and applications, measure usage and support advertising. See the links below for their privacy information.
Your choices
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on.
- Opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com or aboutads.info.
- Email s.hutchins@hieintl.com to ask what we hold from your inquiry or to have it deleted.
